Digisonics’s Digiview Becomes Cardiology Software Choice At The New Methodist West Houston Hospital And Will Also Be Exhibited At HIMSS 2010

Longtime DigiView customer, The Methodist Hospital System in Houston, Texas, implemented the DigiView Image Management & Structured Reporting System at its new West Houston campus set to open this fall. The purchase included Cardiology Reading Stations (CRS) with CRS-Net for web-based capabilities, Gateway Monitor software for real-time monitoring and recording of all network transmission events, and Digisonics Rolodex for automated transmission of finalized reports to referring physicians by fax, e-mail or print.

Digisonics plans to exhibit new software releases for both DigiView and OB-View Image Management & Structured Reporting Systems at the HIMSS 2010 show in Atlanta, Ga., March 1-3, 2010, at booth #717. DigiView software release 3.7.5 includes 50% faster imaging displays for remote viewing, extensive Vascular reporting capabilities and PACS API Link to launch Digisonics applications with report and image synchronization. OB-View and OB-Windows software release 4.5.3 will have enhanced software systems with GYN navigation for faster report turnaround and multi-fetus reporting options.
