WOODRIDGE, IL, June 11, 2007--deCODE biostructures, Inc. announces the initiation of a third research project with InterMune, Inc. Under the research agreement, deCODE biostructures will conduct screening of its Fragments of LifeTM library against an InterMune target. The research fee and milestone-based research collaboration will utilize deCODE's proprietary Fragments of LifeTM technology and crystallographic methods to enable identification of new chemical intellectual property for small molecule inhibitors of InterMune's drug target.
