DUBLIN--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Covidien plc (NYSE: COV) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.16 per ordinary share. The dividend is payable on August 25, 2009, to shareholders of record on August 4, 2009.
