ConvaTec said in a statement its total market capitalisation would be 4.39 billion pounds and it would be admitted to the London Stock Exchange’s main market next week after a period of conditional trading. The stock traded close to its offer price by 0809 GMT.
The value of companies listing in London fell to the lowest level in four years in the first nine months of the 2016, according to research by Henderson Managed Investment Trusts, which blamed the fall on uncertainty caused by Britain’s decision to leave the European Union.
