CARLSBAD, Calif., Jan. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Chiltern International, a leading global clinical research organization, has appointed Dr. James D. Esinhart to the role of Global Head of Biometrics. Dr. Esinhart joins Chiltern with over 19 years of biopharmaceutical research experience, with the last 12 years spent in the CRO industry.
Dr. Esinhart will be based in Wilmington, North Carolina and will be responsible for overseeing Chiltern's global Biometrics, EDC, Late Phase, and Information Technology divisions.

Dr. Esinhart received his Ph.D. from the Medical College of Virginia. He has held clinical development positions with Glaxo Welcome and A.H. Robins/Wyeth. His most recent CRO experience was with Charles River Laboratories as Vice President of Global Medical Data Sciences prior to this he held positions within Inveresk and PharmaResearch Corporation.
