As part of its corporate headquarters move to the Dallas suburbs, CCS Medical is laying off 101 Tampa workers, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification notice filed with the state on Tuesday.
Those jobs will end this summer, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
CCS promised Texas as many as 230 jobs during the next two years to try and nail down a tax and training incentive from the Lone Star State.
CCS, which makes medical supplies like insulin pumps and diabetes test strips, announced about a year ago that the company emerged from bankruptcy. It entered into Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the summer of 2009 and came back out in March 2011, according to previous reports in the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
