The Winchester-Clark County Planning Commission unanimously approved a final development plan for a proposed expansion to Catalent Pharma Solutions Tuesday evening. Located at 1100 Enterprise Drive in the Winchester Industrial Park, Catalent manufactures extended release medications, both prescription and over-the-counter. The plan calls for a 37,391-square foot expansion to the existing 81,379 square foot building. A preliminary development plan was approved in November 2011. Company officials said at the time they hoped to expand their manufacturing operations and develop new drugs, while maintaining production of proven medications.
