Medical device giant Boston Scientific (NYSE: BSX) received 510 (k) clearance by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for two different products, the company said Wednesday. The Natick, Mass. based company received clearance for its Rhythmia Mapping System, a 3-D mapping system used in cardiac catheter ablations and other procedures to diagnose or treat a number of conditions in which the heart beats abnormally. The clearance comes after BSX received CE Mark approval for the Rhythmia Mapping System in May.
