Premier Life Science Companies Take Center Stage on Hotbed Map
DENVER (November 14, 2013) – Today BioSpace, the leading life sciences employment and news website, launched the 2013-2014 BioForest™ Hotbed campaign, highlighting Washington state’s thriving biotechnology sector.
“With more than 160 biopharma and 250 medical technology companies in Washington state alone, this area represents a vital industry sector,” said Emily Chereck, BioSpace Product Manager. “The BioForest map engages job seekers and decision makers alike, reaching a wide online audience and those attending trade shows and BioSpace Career Fairs.”
This year’s participants include Gilead Sciences, LabConnect LLC and SNBL USA, Ltd.
In the past year, BioSpace has received over 500,000 page views and hundreds of thousands of visits from people in the BioForest area to search for jobs and access industry news
The BioForest map features each company’s logo with a three-dimensional rendering of its building atop a geographical blueprint of the state. BioSpace promotes the BioForest map at industry events, career fairs and on its website. BioForest is part of a series of Hotbed campaigns, each hosted on its own BioSpace Web page.
