FRANKLIN, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BioMimetic Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: BMTI) today reported its financial results as of and for the three and twelve months ended December 31, 2007. For the three months ended December 31, 2007, the Company reported a net loss of $6.9 million or $(0.37) per share, compared to a net loss of $5.3 million, or $(0.34) per share, for the same period in 2006. For the full year, the Company reported a net loss of $24.6 million, or $(1.37) per share, compared to a net loss of $17.2 million, or $(1.62) per share, for 2006. The Company ended the year with $67.3 million of cash and cash equivalents and investments in marketable securities.
