(NASDAQ: BLTI) today announced that it has been granted a new U.S. patent related to the core laser plus water technology that is central to current and future dental laser generations. Specifically, the coverage provides for use of electromagnetic energy (e.g. laser) with fluid (e.g. water) that has at least one output micropulse (e.g. Er, Cr:YSGG, Er:YAG, etc.) to allow the cutting of tissue.
