PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Beijing Med-Pharm Corporation (Nasdaq:BJGP) today announced that it will hold an investor conference call on Thursday, February 1, 2007 at 4:30 p.m. EST to discuss the strategy and details of its joint venture with Alliance Boots plc (AB.LSE), Europe’s leading pharmacy-led health and beauty group. Beijing Med-Pharm and Alliance Boots announced earlier this week that they have agreed to acquire a 50 percent interest in Guangzhou Pharmaceuticals Corporation, the third largest pharmaceutical wholesaler in China.
