BASF Increases Prices for Higher Alkylamines in Europe

March 15, 2012 -- With immediate effect, or as existing contracts permit, BASF SE will increase its European selling prices for the following products as follows:

Monoethylamine (MEA 70%) + 30 €/t

Diethylamine (DEA) + 40 €/t

Triethylamine (TEA) + 50 €/t

Monoisopropylamine (MIPA) + 170 €/t

Monopropylamine (MPA) + 50 €/t

Dipropylamine (DPA) + 60 €/t

Tripropylamine (TPA and TPA+) + 70 €/t

Monobutylamine (MBA) + 80 €/t

Dibutylamine (DBA) + 90 €/t

Tributylamine (TBA and TBA+) + 100 €/t

Octylamine (OA) + 100 €/t

2-Ethylhexylamine (2-EHA) + 120 €/t

Di-2-Ethylhexylamine (Di-2-EHA) + 140 €/t

Tris-2-Ethylhexylamine (Tris-2-EHA) + 160 €/t

Tridecylamine (TDA) + 100 €/t

Di-tridecylamine + 100 €/t

These high-quality special amines form the starting material for the production of various intermediates that are used for example in the agrochemical, pharmaceutical, rubber and coatings industries.
