VITAS Selects Fischer International’s Identity Suite

NAPLES, Fla., Aug. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Fischer International, thought leaders in identity management, today announced that VITAS has selected Fischer Identity Suite 2.0. The full implementation throughout VITAS' enterprise will include password management, self-service, provisioning, and compliance.

"In addition to having a complex IT infrastructure that contains sensitive information, we need to meet strict audit and compliance requirements," said John Sandbrook, IT security officer for VITAS. "With its open standards and ability to easily connect with our healthcare applications, Fischer International is by far the best identity management solution for VITAS."

Fischer Identity Suite 2.0 is the only next-generation identity management solution. It enables organizations to improve their bottom lines by managing more risk with greater security and compliance, but with far less effort. The core of the architecture is DataForum(TM), an integration, provisioning, approval, and compliance engine.

"VITAS and Fischer share a commitment to innovation and thought leadership," said Renee Bacherman, president and CEO of Fischer International. "Fischer is pleased that VITAS has selected our next-generation Identity Suite to be part of their enterprise. We built this solution with the flexibility and extensibility to meet VITAS' existing and evolving business and compliance objectives."
