Vitamin B2 could be used to help treat patients with sepsis, report Japanese researchers at vitamin maker Eisai.The new study, published in the March issue of Infection and Immunity (p 1820-1823, vol 72, no 3), found that mice given a highly purified form of the vitamin were more likely to survive blood poisoning.
