IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Board of Directors of Aubrey Group is happy to announce that Tom Allen has been named Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Tom brings more than 30 years experience in the medical device and life sciences industry in a range of positions including General Management, Sales and Marketing, Manufacturing, Mergers, and International Manufacturing.
Tom has led start-ups, and small to medium-sized companies, both public and private. He started in sales at Marquette Electronics, and held progressively more responsible positions, eventually becoming President of Marquette Electronics’ Patient Care Division. Tom was President of Advanced Interventional Systems, Inc. and Baxter’s Interventional Cardiology Business Unit. He served as interim CEO of Obagi Medical Products Inc. and helped set it on the path to a very successful IPO and was President, CEO of United States Manufacturing Company, which he restructured.
Tom launched his own medical consulting company, The Allen Alliance, Inc. in 1996. During that time, he developed an angioplasty catheter product line for Sorin Biomedica and set up manufacturing and processing facilities for it in Saluggia, Italy.

Tom is a native of Orange County and received his BS degree from California State University in Long Beach.
He has been a consultant at Aubrey Group. As CEO, Tom will be in charge of setting a successful course for the company.
