Subjekt Sponsors AIDS Walk Los Angeles 2011

Los Angeles, CA; October 12, 2011: The AIDS Walk Los Angeles is the largest AIDS fundraising event in California, attaining the participation of over 30,000 locals to fight the epidemic of HIV/AIDS around the world. According to the website, every year, this event raises millions locally to “provide vital services to thousands living with HIV/AIDS in Los Angeles, and run the county’s largest network of prevention programs.” Making such an impact on our local community, it was only necessary for Subjekt to take notice and leave their mark as well.

Subjekt made an easy decision to become a first time sponsor of AIDS Walk Los Angeles by creating a team and fundraising for the event, having the employees walk for the cause on October 16th, 2011. They have also donated fifty of their coveted red HerPhones – earbuds designed 40% smaller than usual, made specifically with small ears in mind – to their swag bags for VIP attendees. Subjekt will also be giving all other participants gift certificates to any of their merchandise. The team behind Subjekt believes that, when you give, you get back.

HerPhones set a new standard in fashion and fidelity, uniquely designed to securely fit smaller ears with added comfort. A substantial 40% smaller size comes with aluminum casing, sleek cables, and soft silicon ear-tips that have all been thoughtfully crafted for a perfect female fit. This is one of the products that participants in the AIDS Walk Los Angeles will be able to own. Subjekt has changed the perception of headphones from merely a sound source to a fashionable way to listen to music. Ben Sedaghat founded the company in 2009 to create high-end headphones at a low price, generating a middle ground for headphones in a market where products are either over-priced or of low quality.
