Notice is hereby given that a class action lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division, on behalf of all purchasers of the publicly traded securities of Baxter International Inc. (“Baxter” or the “Company”) (NYSE:BAX) between April 19, 2001 and July 21, 2004, inclusive (the “Class Period”). Also included in the Class are all those who acquired Baxter’s shares through its acquisitions of Autros, Fusion Medical, ESI Lederle, Acambis, Alpha-1, Cook Pharmaceutical, and Icodextrin.
