StemBioSys Inc. has secured a new CEO, Peter Savas, who comes to the San Antonio-based life sciences company from the Boston area, one of the nation’s more significant bioscience hubs. Savas decided to make the move to the Alamo City in large part because of the work StemBioSys is doing in the stem-cell arena. He is convinced that StemBioSys has a unique opportunity to market its core technology platform — which involves the isolation and expansion of high-quality stem cells — to companies across the U.S. and the world.
