February 10, 2006 -- The International Symposium on Stem Cell Collaboration was held in San Francisco this week. Topics ranged from investment to international alliances, models for commercialization, politics and new scientific developments. IP was another area of focus, with speakers worried that key IP is concentrated in a few players--notably Geron. The VC perspective and the Korean debacle were also addressed.
