Tampa, FL – January 20, 2015 – Tampa-based Pilgrim Quality Solutions, a leading global provider of enterprise quality management software and services for the Life Sciences, today announced the appointment of Keith Pensabene to Vice President of Sales. Previously, Pensabene was Vice President of Business Development for Accenture Accelerated R&D Solutions.
As Vice President of Sales for Pilgrim, Pensabene is responsible for establishing growth, revenue and profitability goals along with implementing the strategies to achieve those goals. He will also focus on aligning the sales organization to best meet the demands of the marketplace.
Pensabene brings to this position extensive global sales leadership experience focused on the Life Sciences and information technology markets, including direction of business development and customer base expansion initiatives, and driving substantial domestic and international growth.

As Vice President of Sales at Octagon Research Solution, Pensabene achieved significant, consistent global growth culminating in its acquisition by Accenture Life Sciences in 2012. After joining Accenture, he served as Vice President of Accelerated R & D Solutions, engaging with notable Life Science clients including GlaxoSmithKline, Eli Lilly and Medtronic.
Prior to Octagon, Pensabene was responsible for leading Sales among numerous regions for Fiberlink Communications Corporation, a leading provider of Software-as-a-Service solutions that enabled Global 2000 enterprises to securely mobilize their workforces. He was instrumental in growing company revenues from $8 million to $80 million prior to Fiberlink’s acquisition by IBM Corporation.
