Pittsburghlive -- Brent Shafer has been named the new chief executive at respiratory products maker Philips Home Healthcare Solutions of Murrysville, parent company Philips Healthcare said today. The company said Shafer succeeded Don Spence, the CEO since 2008, on May 3. Philips Home Healthcare formerly was known as Respironics Inc., which was founded in Westmoreland County in 1976.
