NEW YORK, Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Michael A. Epstein, co-head of the Trade Practices and Regulatory Law department and a member of the management committee at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, one of the world’s leading law firms, has been named chairman of the board of trustees of the Institute for Cancer Prevention (IFCP). Mr. Epstein’s appointment is effective January 1, 2004.
The IFCP is the premier institute for cancer prevention research and is the only National Cancer Institute designated cancer center entirely dedicated to saving lives through disease prevention and control.

Mr. Epstein has been a member of the ICFP board of trustees since 1996.
