LONDON, Nov. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- MediPurpose announced today the expansion of its global operations in Europe. The company has targeted expansion into Europe as one of its key strategies to further grow its business, and to increase the footprint of its operations worldwide. The expansion includes the establishment of an office in Spain, and another one in France, to complement the existing office in the United Kingdom.
With the expansion also comes the announcement of new management in the respective countries. Alain Poncet is a consultant to the company, acting as VP, Europe, while Stella Avarre is Sales Manager, France. Mr. Poncet comes to MediPurpose from Terumo Europe, where he was President and CEO. He is now running his own consulting firm, Medvisor. Ms. Avarre has had medical sales experience at Smiths Medical, Inamed, Terumo and 3M. In Spain, Anthony Kong is the Sales Manager. Mr. Kong has had experience in the introduction of products in new markets. He holds an MBA from IESE Business School and a Bachelors degree from Southampton University. Stephen Yi continues to head up MediPurpose’s UK operations in addition to his role as Group CFO.
