Luke Huang Named President Of Radlink

REDONDO BEACH, Calif., Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Radlink, Inc., a supplier of affordable medical imaging systems to healthcare providers, today announced the appointment of Luke Huang as president of the company. Huang will report to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Thomas Hacking. Richard Gerlach, who founded the company and most recently served as president will assume the title of Founder and Distinguished Scientist and will continue to remain active on the board of directors.

With nearly two decades in system and software product development, Huang most recently worked at Radlink as an executive engineer and has been instrumental in the maturation of Radlink’s CR Pro(TM) imaging system and the conception and development of the company’s Pro Imaging(TM) products and integrated solutions.

Previously, Huang has worked and consulted on a variety of innovative medical and non-medical products for a wide range of Fortune 500 and Global 500 companies including UCLA Hospital, DirecTV, Canon, Washington Mutual, Procom, Starwood, Toshiba, Safeco and Starz.

He also has extensively worked and consulted in the medical imaging and biomedical informatics industries, helping to implement and manage total solutions for PACS and genetic data mining and analysis. Huang also has developed innovative DICOM storage appliance products serving in both managerial and engineering roles as manager and software and systems architect.

Huang holds a B.S. degree in Physics from Lanzhou University and a M.S. degree in Physics from Case Western Reserve University.
