LamdaGen Corporation, a privately funded Company located in Menlo Park, California, announced today that Nicholas Jon Virca has been named Chief Operating Officer, beginning March 3, 2008. LamdaGen is a rapidly growing Life Science Company that produces proprietary Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance (LSPR) bio-sensing sensors to facilitate Diagnostics and Life-Science oriented label-independent analytical instruments, sensors and consumables.

Mr. Virca is a previous co-founder of two biotechnology companies, and the former President & CEO of Adventrx Pharmaceuticals, a biotechnology company specializing in oncology and viral compounds. Most recently, Mr. Virca was Vice President of Global Biotechnology for Pall Life Sciences, where his focus was in biotechnology initiatives, new technology development, joint ventures and licensing.
