FLINT, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Engineering curricula traditionally have not had a life sciences component, but that is changing at Kettering University in Flint, Mich. The university dedicated the Dane and Mary Louise Miller Life Sciences and Bio-Engineering Laboratories during ceremonies Thursday, Sept. 13.
The labs are designed to “better understand the most elegantly engineered structure known – the human body,” said Dr. Patrick Atkinson, professor of Mechanical Engineering at Kettering.
