John W. Manzetti Joins The Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse As An Executive In Residence

PITTSBURGH, July 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse (PLSG), the private/public partnership putting the region’s life sciences industry on a fast track for growth, today announced it has added John W. Manzetti to its management team. Prior to his appointment to the PLSG Executives in Residence team, Mr. Manzetti was President and CEO of M2 Partners, a management services firm providing advisory services to start-ups in the life-sciences and high technology industries in the Pittsburgh area. Before M2 Partners, Mr. Manzetti was with NOMOS Corporation, a leader in the field of radiation therapy treatment solutions for cancer patients. At NOMOS, Mr. Manzetti was responsible for managing the strategic direction and all operations for the Company. He joined NOMOS as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and was later named President and Chief Executive Officer.

At the PLSG, Mr. Manzetti will serve as an Executive in Residence (EIR), focusing on early-stage company formation as well as the commercialization of later-stage technologies and opportunities. He will leverage his significant financial management expertise, IPO background, experience raising capital, and development of successful business process models to assist companies with comprehensive strategic business planning.
