Interpublic Pays Up to $78 Million for UK Double Helix

LONDON, NEW YORK, PHILADELPHIA and SINGAPORE, June 25, 2012 -- /PRNewswire/ -- McCann Health, a division of Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG), announced today the acquisition of Double Helix. Founded in 1995, Double Helix is a leading, global provider of Market Research and Market Access services to the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Dr. Wayne Phillips, who founded and runs Double Helix, will continue as CEO of Double Helix, reporting to John Cahill, CEO of McCann Health.
