COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--InfraRed Imaging Systems, Inc. (INRIS) a producer of near infrared (nIR) light based medical imaging devices used to visualize sub-dermal structures such as veins and arteries, announced today that it has received a grant of $812,000 from the Ohio Third Frontier (OTF) Commission, an economic development arm of the Ohio Department of Development. The intent of the grant is to further develop medical imaging businesses in the State of Ohio. Including in-kind commitments from three collaborating companies in the state of Ohio, the total value of the grant to INRIS exceeds $1.1 million.
