HealthRamp And Advanced Data Systems Execute Sales And Marketing Partnership

NEW YORK, April 15 /PRNewswire-Firstcall/ -- Ramp Corporation today announced that its HealthRamp, Inc. (“HRI”) subsidiary and Advanced Data Systems (“ADS”) have signed an agreement to promote HealthRamp’s CarePoint e-prescribing and e-transmission technology to prospective and existing ADS customers. As part of the agreement, ADS will create a proprietary interface to extract patient information from their Practice Management System for export to the CarePoint e-prescribing and e-transmission system. HRI develops and markets the CarePoint suite of technologies, which enables electronic prescribing, lab orders and results, Internet-based communication, data integration, and transaction processing over a handheld device or browser, at the point-of-care. ADS is the exclusive manufacturer and sales and support resource of the MEDICS II(TM), MedicsElite(TM) and MedicsPremier(TM) Physician Billing and Practice Management Solutions.

“Our partnership with ADS is a superb fit for both companies because of the complementary nature of our technologies. The ADS MedicsElite Practice Management software along with our CarePoint e-prescribing technologies will provide physicians with a complete end-to-end solution. Building on the strength of MedicsElite, CarePoint adds robust point-of-care functionality that is typically not part of practice management systems. We are very excited about working with ADS for years to come, as e-prescribing and e-transmission technologies become more ubiquitous in physician offices,” stated Andrew Brown, Ramp President.

“CarePoint’s focus on e-prescribing at the point-of-care is a new and exciting capability we are pleased to offer to our prospective and existing customers. This partnership enables both companies to offer an electronic link for healthcare providers to what have been disparate computer systems in their offices. ADS has been providing Innovation and Excellence through our Healthcare Systems since 1977 through continuing evolution of our products and ancillary services. Our customers expect the best technology and service offered in healthcare, as evidenced by our successful 27-year history with over 30,000 healthcare professionals. HealthRamp’s focus on customer satisfaction makes them a perfect fit with that of our organization,” said Don Ackerman of Advanced Data Systems.
