EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., Dec. 9, 2004 /PRNewswire/ -- CIGNA Behavioral Health (CBH) announced today that it has hired Dr. Steven Batton, formerly of Value Options, to be the organization’s lead assistant medical director for its Tampa, Florida, office.

With a varied background in adolescent and childhood behavioral health, Dr. Batton strengthens the clinical team at CBH. His experience includes time in private practice in Jacksonville, Florida and as the medical director for the Partial Hospital program for Children and Adolescents at Charter Hospital of Jacksonville.
Dr. Batton graduated from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1985. He completed his General Psychiatry training at the University of California, San Francisco, and completed a Child Psychiatry fellowship in 1990 at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA.
