Bio-Tech Consulting Release: Raising Funds for Biotechnological Projects

March 24, 2011 -- Having in mind companies from the life science sector, which search for funds concerning development and start-up creation - during BioForum a special lecture, entitled: ‘Raising venture capital financing by biotech companies’ will take place. It will start at 11:30 on May 12th, and will be held by world renowned specialists in life science investments.

Grzegorz Gromada - chairman and investment partner of MCI.Bioventures fund, who will present the possibility of seed funding and venture capital acquisition by life science companies will participate in the lecture. Moreover, he will go into detail on various factors which have impact on start-up success. During the meeting, examples of success stories of Polish companies founded by Polish scientists (which were established thanks to seed capital) will be provided. Time for discussion and possible questions is also planned.

Participation in BioForum is a great opportunity to speak directly with fund representatives and discuss in detail the conditions on which financial support can be obtained. It concerns not only members of biotechnological companies but also scientists who plan to commercialize their research – says Grzegorz Gromada.
