HOLT - An artificial joint components maker has a new majority shareholder and plans to expand globally while adding jobs in Michigan. Orchid Orthopedic Solutions, with 150 employees in Holt and a combined 645 at four other Michigan locations, now lists Sweden’s Altor Equity Partners as its majority shareholder. The shares were sold by former shareholder Churchill Equity of Minneapolis. Terms weren’t disclosed.
