AVISTA Pharma Earns Carolina Star Safety Award

DURHAM, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Avista Pharma Solutions, Inc. (“Avista Pharma”) has announced that its Durham, North Carolina facility has achieved Carolina Star status, the North Carolina Department of Labor’s (NCDOL) highest level of safety and health recognition. The NCDOL created the Carolina Star Program to recognize and promote effective safety and health management systems at workplaces throughout the state.

As a contract testing, development, and manufacturing company working to help clients bring new drugs to market, strict safety and health protocols are essential to protect employees and products within the facility. The Carolina Star award certifies Avista Pharma’s ability to control hazardous materials and demonstrates the company’s ongoing dedication to exemplary workplace health and safety standards.
