Aspen is to create 44 jobs in Citywest, Dublin, as the generic pharmaceutical company is establishing a global regulatory, pharmacovigilance, quality assurance and supply projects centre of excellence. The new jobs will bring Aspen’s total workforce in Ireland to 58. Ireland’s Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton, TD, who announced the new jobs today, said pharmaceuticals are a major sector of strength for Ireland, with nine out of the top 10 global companies located in the country.
