World Famous Clinic In Rochester, MN Selects Click Commerce To Automate Research Compliance Approval
PORTLAND, Ore., May 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Click Commerce , a leading provider of compliance automation solutions for research institutions, today announced that Mayo Clinic has selected the company's Webridge Extranet for Compliance to automate Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval processes for new and continuing research.
Federal regulations establish IRBs to protect the rights and welfare of people participating in research studies. Both board members and research scientists suffer from the increasing complexity of paperwork necessary to describe new research and to weigh the risk-benefit ratio to prospective patients.
The Webridge Extranet for Compliance solution will bring efficiency to the approval process for Mayo's research and board members. With all applications assembled and stored electronically, the system will also enhance the Mayo Clinic's ability to monitor on-going studies and continue improving research patient safety.
