Radlink Names Alan Davalou Chief Marketing Officer

REDONDO BEACH, Calif., Feb. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Radlink, Inc., a supplier of affordable medical imaging systems to healthcare providers, today announced that Alan Davalou has joined the company as its first chief marketing officer.

Davalou is a seasoned veteran on the digital imaging industry, with more than 25 years of experience in software development, product management, marketing and business development. Most recently, he was senior program manager for the development of workflow applications at Xerox Corporation, where he managed and developed software releases for Web services and other document management solutions.

At Radlink, he will be charged with overseeing the company's overall global marketing strategy, business development efforts, and customer support and relations. Radlink has been generating significant attention in the healthcare imaging marketplace for the past year due to the highly successful introduction of its CR Pro(TM) machine. The CR Pro utilizes sealed fiber-optic laser technology to obtain high-resolution, high-quality digital x-ray images at a substantially lower cost than other options in the marketplace.

In addition to its CR Pro machine, Radlink recently introduced the Pro Imaging(TM) product line, a cost-effective hardware and software solution that enables physician offices to convert from film-based x-ray imaging to a total digital environment. The new Pro Imaging turnkey software offering includes a suite of applications that allow physician offices to manage the archival, transmission and display of digital x-ray images.

"Alan's successful career has centered around the professional marketing of digital imaging and printing solutions to businesses, so he is an extraordinary addition to our team," said Tom Hacking, chairman and CEO of Radlink. "We look forward to his contributions in the development of a global marketing strategy that can help propel us to a new level of sustained and manageable worldwide sales growth."

Davalou earned a bachelor of science degree in computer science at the University of California at Los Angeles, and his master of science degree in computer engineering and his executive MBA at the University of Southern California.
