SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Quidel Corporation (NASDAQ:QDEL), a leading provider of rapid point-of-care (POC) diagnostic tests, today announced that John M. Radak, 46, has been named Chief Financial Officer, with a start date of February 1, 2007. Mr. Radak will succeed Paul E. Landers as CFO, who announced his retirement last year. Mr. Landers will continue his service with the Company through the end of March 2007.
