HINGHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Phase One Medical, L.L.C. announced today the issuance of the first in a family of patents for closing the distal end of a hemodialysis catheter. The United States patent 8,007,488 provides multiple methods for closing the distal end of a catheter upon completing a hemodialysis session.
