The New Shared Services Hub Will Enable PharmScript to Better Serve Long-term Care Facilities Throughout the Midwest

SOMERSET, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- PharmScript, a leading pharmacy provider to long-term care and post-acute care facilities, today, announced the opening of a new shared services hub in Indianapolis, IN. The facility, which will support customers throughout the Midwest, is a continuation of strong, ongoing growth for PharmScript. The new state-of-the-art facility is PharmScript’s third shared service hub, in addition to locations in New Jersey and Texas.

“Being front and center for our facility partners is more important than ever. As we continue expanding our customer base in the Midwest, a service hub was a strategically sound next step,” said Justin Craigie, Chief Operating Officer, PharmScript. “We’re proud of our leadership team there, and confident that this facility will greatly benefit our customers in the region by delivering high-quality, safe, and reliable pharmacy support.”

Utilizing 10,000 square feet, the new Indianapolis shared services hub is home to a pharmacy with cutting-edge technology, customer service, and billing teams all under one roof. As a result, the team within the Indianapolis hub can provide a one-stop-shop for customers, and a seamless, integrated service delivery model.

To manage the new shared services hub, PharmScript has hired Andy Deaton as General Manager. Deaton comes to PharmScript with deep industry experience in long-term care and pharmacy settings. As General Manager, he is responsible for the overall shared services hub; including the pharmacy, revenue cycle center, and customer service center. Prior to joining PharmScript, Deaton was the Senior Manager of Lab Services and Logistics at Indiana University Health and a Central Billing Center Manager at Omnicare.

“Providing excellent customer service drives everything we do at PharmScript,” said Deaton. “The new Indianapolis hub ensures we’re providing unparalleled support for our partners, now and in the future. Now, more than ever, customers appreciate the true value of a full-service pharmacy partner and our hub locations are designed with that in mind—to support our customers at every step of their journey.”
