"My job as a registered nurse for over 20 years inspired me to develop my idea. I have seen a high number of hospitals and nursing homes deal with patients who have acquired heel pressure sores. My invention will help prevent this," said the inventor. The H-SOCK helps prevent heel pressure/bed sores for patients. It increases circulation by keeping the feet warm and also offers comfort and protection for the patient. In addition, it will help prevent sheer on the patients' skin on the heels and ankles. For added patient comfort, this sock will help patients to walk without slipping. It is easy to apply and remove, and is producible in various colors and designs, including characters.

The original design was submitted to the San Francisco office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
