Glenmark Pharmaceuticals in Talks to Sell Its Oral Contraceptive Unit

Mumbai-based Glenmark Pharmaceuticals is in talks to sell its oral contraceptive product division, ET states. The company is in talks with many local and global drugmakers. Along with domestic players such as Sun Pharma and Lupin, global companies Teva, Actavis and Sandoz also might be interested in acquiring the entire product range to consolidate their position in the U.S market.
