McCord Research Hires Former University of Iowa Researcher

CORALVILLE, Iowa, Oct. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- McCord Research has expanded its research and development division to pursue the future of innovative healing. McCord Research has hired a former research specialist from The University of Iowa to enhance its bioscience department.

Nancy B. Ray, Ph.D., will hold the position of Director of Quality and Scientific Affairs for McCord Research. Ray received her bachelor's of science education in Chemistry and Microbiology, as an Honor's Program Scholar from the University of Montana in Missoula, MT. She then received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Biophysics from Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR. Ray has work experience from some of the most prestigious institutes in the country including Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School, The University of Iowa, and National Institutes of Health (NIH) Rocky Mountain Laboratories. "This is a wonderful opportunity for me to learn more about the science behind skin therapy, wound healing, and nutrition," said Ray. "I am very happy to have the opportunity to contribute to the improvement of human health by promoting quality research, health products, and education."
