MedPage Today -- BARCELONA -- Bivalirudin (Angiomax) reduced bleeding and other cardiovascular events at one year after angioplasty in patients with ST-segment elevation acute myocardial infarction, compared with heparin plus a glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitor, researchers said.
