Ameritox currently operates a laboratory in Midland, Texas, which performs screening and confirmatory testing on hundreds of thousands of specimens annually through its proprietary Rx Guardian(SM) methodology.

The state offers a diverse and talented work force, an abundance of top tier educational institutions, and is well situated to help our company continue to grow,” said Ancelmo E. Lopes, Chief Executive Officer of Ameritox. “Its opening will help us provide more physicians and patients with laboratory information that goes beyond standard urine drug testing to help them determine if patients are taking their medications as directed - ultimately leading to enhanced patient care.”

Ameritox plans to hire 228 employees once the laboratory is fully operational in 2010.
