MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Medical Systems Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMMD) reported preliminary sales of $114.8 million for the fourth quarter of 2006, a 57 percent increase over sales of $73.1 million in the comparable quarter of 2005. Preliminary sales for the year 2006 were reported at $357.7 million, a 36 percent increase over sales of $262.6 million for the year 2005. The Company’s organic growth rate for the fourth quarter and fiscal year, adjusted for the July 2006 Laserscope acquisition, were both 18 percent.
