DANVERS, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Abiomed, Inc. (NASDAQ: ABMD) today announced the completion of the public offering of 5,000,000 shares of its common stock at $13.75 per share. The net proceeds to Abiomed from the offering are approximately $63.6 million, after deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses. The underwriters have been granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 750,000 shares of Abiomed’s common stock to cover over-allotments, if any.
