Abbott Laboratories is not bidding for rival Pfizer Inc.'s huge baby and infant nutrition business, according to report by Bloomberg.com. “We are not participating in the process,” a spokeswoman for the North Chicago-based company said in an e-mail to Bloomberg. She would not say if Abbott had previously bid for the business or whether it will in the future. Abbott was one of a handful of companies, including Danone and Nestle SA, that had expressed interest in bidding, according to Bloomberg.com.
