Zylber also joins the executive committee and will lead the group’s new research and development direction
Ecouen, France, April 28, 2015 – Vygon, the specialist single-use medical devices group, today announces the appointment of Emmanuel Zylber as vice president of R&D. He also joins the group’s executive committee.
Emmanuel Zylber’s appointment comes as the Vygon Group aims to pursue a new R&D direction; in particular integrating the international teams, a stronger focus on research, developing strategic partnerships and implementing global product platforms. “We are delighted to welcome Emmanuel Zylber as our new vice president of R&D and expect him to bring a new dynamism to our research,” said Stéphane Regnault, chairman of Vygon’s board of management. “Emmanuel’s international applied experience is a perfect match for the Vygon Group’s approach and our plans for international roll-out.”
Before joining Vygon, Emmanuel Zylber was general manager of Sustainable Logistic Dynamics, an engineering company based in Paris. Prior to this, he was director of research and development at Scient’X, a medical device company specialized in spinal surgery. His experience in the medical device industry also includes working as principal engineer at Zimmer in Switzerland. Emmanuel Zylber holds a MSc degree from the Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Tarbes, he graduated in 1999 after completing his course at FCI Electronics (connectors) in the United States.
